Te Kupenga Hauora is a health provider in Tauranga, New Zealand.

Established in 1990, Te Kupenga Hauora was initiated by local kuia who saw the need for a culturally appropriate health service to run alongside Kohanga Reo to  cater for tamariki under 5 years old and their whanau in Tauranga Moana. He tino mihi kia ratou e kui ma mo o koutou kaha ki te hapai tenei kaupapa.

The core activities of Te Kupenga Hauora are:

• Well Child health promotion with particular focus on tamariki in Kohanga Reo in Tauranga Moana
• Whangai u - breasfeeding support
• Breast & Cervical screening, education and support to services
• Healthy cooking, nutrition and physical activity

These services support Te Kupenga Hauora's holistic approach: That the health of Mother and Child is inseperable.

Breast and Cervical screening and our Child Car Seat Rental Scheme are services available to the wider community.
